LOS ANGELES -- Aug. 9, 2006: Time Warner Cable, a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX), and the Los Angeles Dodgers announced today a new channel for Southern California: Dodgers On Demand. Effective immediately and only available on Time Warner Cable's digital lineup, Dodgers On Demand will house a library of Los Angeles Dodgers content on television. Dodgers On Demand is the first new On Demand Channel launched by Time Warner Cable since the company became the largest cable provider in the Los Angeles market.

"Dodgers on Demand will provide Dodgers fans with an all-access pass to Dodgers information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," said Jamie McCourt, vice chairman and president, Los Angeles Dodgers. "It's another great way for us to be able to serve our loyal fans in the Los Angeles community.

All Dodgers fans need to do is tune into Time Warner Cable Channel No. 1 and navigate to the specific Dodgers On Demand section. To help enhance viewer experience, the channel is divided into eight major categories:

Regular season: Dodgers on Demand will feature original highlights, postgame interviews and expert analysis from each Dodgers game.

Player profiles: One-on-One interviews with current players, former Dodgers greats, coaches and executives.

Dodgers events: Reports on all Dodger events and community outreach programs. Updated regularly throughout the year.

Press conferences: Viewers will be given a birds-eye view into each Dodgers press conference from start to finish.

Special features: A variety of special Dodgers vignettes that will be updated on a weekly basis.

Original content: Dodgers On Demand will feature original series giving viewers an inside look into the Dodgers.

Dodgers en Español: In addition, Dodgers On Demand will showcase a number of features and interviews available entirely in Spanish.

"This partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers is an exciting opportunity for Time Warner Cable to show its commitment to serving the Los Angeles market," said Jeffrey Hirsch, president of Time Warner Cable. "With channels such as Dodgers On Demand, Time Warner Cable will become synonymous with quality entertainment."

On Aug. 1, Time Warner Cable and Comcast purchased Adelphia Communications to become the largest cable provider in the Los Angeles market. All former Adelphia and Comcast cable subscribers in Southern California are being transitioned to Time Warner Cable and will receive Dodgers On Demand on Channel One.
